It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Irene, at the age of 87. Predeceased by her loving husband Laszlo, her son Leslie and brothers Martin, Ferenc and Rudi. Beloved mother of Frank Varga, Elizabeth Amello and Irene Varga-Folkard, and mother-in-law of John Amello. Her love will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Giselle Varga, Leslie Folkard, Chris Varga, Frankie Varga, Camille Folkard, Adam Amello and Mark Amello. She will be missed by her niece Suzanne Schuller.

Friends may call on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday December 16, 2020 at 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church (432 Sheppard Avenue East, just west of Bayview). Interment to follow at Prospect Cemetery.
