Life Story for Mary Elizabeth Sumner
(nee Morrison) passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on Saturday December 1, 2021 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre at the age of 65. Loving Mother of David (Joanne) and Karen (Enzo). Devoted grandmother of Samantha, Sofie and Leo. Dear sister of Barbara Purcell and Cathie Sabourin and predeceased by Jane Warren. Will be sadly missed by nephews and nieces Michael, Kelly, Kevin, Andrea, Marianne, Natalie and Danielle and also by former husband Wayne. Mary was devoted to and was the centre of her large and vibrant family who will always carry her in their hearts. Friends may call on Monday, December 3, 2021 from 6-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Private Family Interment. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
