Coffee with Rosa
During the summer of 2010, Rosa and I shared many a moment over a cup of coffee. One day, we were sitting on the back porch at Belinda and Al's. I was reading a book and Rosa was just relaxing. As I was reading, I thought I felt like the porch was trembling. I didn't give it much thought until it happened again, right away. I looked at Rosa and asked her, "did you feel shaking?" Rosa told me that it was an earthquake. Sure enough, she was right! After that she would always ask me, "when are you coming over for a coffee?" She wasn't just Al's mother-in-law, she was more of a friend and she always made me feel like I was part of her immediate family. Dominic, Mary, Belinda and Rosa's beautiful grandchildren, your Mom and Nonna always had a smile on her face when I saw her, she will be missed dearly.
