The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Bruce Whaley can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Although, I never had the privilege of meeting Bruce, over the years I heard so many wonderful stories about this very special man. Bruce was clearly in a league of his own. To Susie, Hannah and Adam, may your cherished memories of Bruce be a source of strength that brings you comfort and peace.

Condolence: Dear Susie, Hannah and Adam, and the Whaley and Kash families, The shock of the sudden loss of Bruce is deep - we are so very sorry for your dreadful loss. We wish you much comfort in each other and in time to come, in the memories of the love you shared and happy times. His twinkle and good humour, so reminiscent of his father, will never be forgotten. As adult cousins we didn't see each other often, but I will always remember Bruce as a lovely, sweet man and boy. He will be sadly missed by all those whose lives he touched. With much love, Maureen and Leslie

Condolence: Dear Susie, This situation is unthinkable, unkind and so unfair. It's obvious that you were made for each other, and there is never enough time. I'm sorry. I wish you, Hannah and Adam strength as you navigate the past, present and future. A very warm hug to you and the rest of the Kash family. John

Condolence: Dear Susie, Hannah and Adam, I was so deeply saddened to hear about the tragic loss of Bruce's life. He was a very vital guy, always positive and lively, it is hard to think that he has gone. It is additionally sad that this is so soon after Aunt Muriel's passing. Please accept my condolences to you and the wider family and I am so very sorry for the loss that you have experienced. My heart goes out to you at this time and in the time to come. Colin McIlwain

Condolence From: Kimberly & David
Condolence: Dear Susie, Hannah & Adam, We are so deeply saddened for the loss of Bruce, dear friend, husband and father. For over 20 years I can picture Susie and Bruce sitting in your Muskoka chairs overlooking Black Lake, basking in the sunshine waiving hello on our approach to Anne's cottage. Bruce's brilliant smile and kind conversation as we'd all get caught up from the winter apart will be dearly missed by all of us. May he rest in peace in the arms of angels, and may your most special moments together forever give you comfort and joy. Kim, Dave & Emma

Condolence From: Dr. Charles Jaipargas
Condolence: To the family of Bruce Whaley. Myself, our Medical Assistants and fellow Physicians are all deeply saddened with the news of the passing of our Colleague Bruce. He worked with us at our many of our Appletree Clinics. Every Tuesday morning, he worked with us at our Brampton clinic. Bruce was a truly dignified, kind, caring, and warm soul. He was always smiling, and truly a great listener. In our little moments between patients, we would speak about trips, movies and hockey. On the days he did not have an Orthotic patient, he would work at his Pod quietly, and peacefully. To his family, we want you to know he was truly appreciated. It was an honour for us to all work with him. This past Tuesday, as I worked, I looked for him at his Pod, but he was not there. We truly wish he was. We will miss him very much. From the Appletree Colleagues of Bruce Whaley
