The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Salme Randsalu can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Salme Randsalu

(nee Klaar) —
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2021 at Cummer Lodge at the age of 101 years. Predeceased by her husband Jaan. Loving mother of Arne and his wife Kersti. Dear grandmother of Ingrid (Craig) and Eerik (Christina) and great-grandmother of Markus. She will be sadly missed by her friends in Canada, Sweden and Estonia. Visitation will be held at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St. (at Goulding, south of Steeles) on Thursday, April 23, 2021 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Friday, April 24, 2021 at 11 a.m. Interment York Cemetery.
