(nee Ross) better known as Michelle after 84 years of love and laughter passed away peacefully at Cummer Lodge on January 2, 2009. Despite struggling with life long depression and later Alzheimers she kept her sharp wit, amazing long term memory and the ability to make others smile. She was born and raised in East York, longtime resident of North York with summers spent at the Orr Lake Cottage. Graduate of Shaw’s Business College 1941, specializing in shorthand, later employed by Morrison and Brass, Cassidy Fine China and Office Overload. She will be dearly missed by Jack (R.C.N.) husband of sixty-two years whom she meet on a blind date. Will also be missed by family and friends. Much thanks to all staff and volunteers at Cummer Lodge. A private family service was held followed by cremation. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Cummer Lodge or Canadian Mental Health Association.
