| When constructed in 1985, the R.S. Kane Funeral facility
was in many ways one of a kind. Not only is it situated
on a property that extends a full city block to provide
the largest parking lot in North York, but is fully
handicap accessible. No detail was left to chance in
the planning and layout. A private family room with
its own washroom off the 175 seat chapel provides families
unequalled privacy. An elevator serving all three floors
provides total access to all parts of the building.
Two lounges are available for families and friends to
enjoy a quiet cup of coffee, hot chocolate, tea or a
soft drink.
There is constant reinvestment in the design and
décor of the facility. Each year, some portion
of the facility is refurbished to maintain the highest
level of comfort for all families. Comfort is immediately
felt when you enter and encounter two fireplaces in
the main foyer and reception area.
Facilities for post-funeral receptions allows families
the convenience of enjoying the support of friends,
without the difficulties surrounding such a gathering
at a residence. |
