I am deeply sadden by your sudden departure. I didn't get to see you for a while until recently at parade night. In the busy sea of troops in the hallway I walked with the Adj. conversing with me as you were blockaded with other members just leaving the classroom. We locked eyes and we exchanged beaming smiles in delighted happiness to see each other again. I wanted to stop and catch up with you but our situations didn't really permit it. I figured there would be other opportunities as we were both busy and being re-directed elsewhere I never would have thought that would be our last meeting. Although no words were spoken, your bright delightful smile and surprised face spoke volumes. I will never forget that moment. May you rest in peace Hartono. Goodbye and until we meet again.

I am so grateful to have met Adeline in high school and will forever cherish all our memories together. She was one of the most genuine person I know and could light up any room with a silly joke or her infectious laugh. My deepest condolences to Adeline's family. I remember meeting Cpl Hartono a little less than a year ago. I am sending my condolences to the family and friends of Adeline. she will be remember for her positive attitude and smile, I couldn't believe when I first heard the news. Your army family misses you, farewell friend until we meet again.

I met Adeline when she first came to my unit a little over a year ago. I always knew her to be very helpful, and always with a smile on her face. Whether it was behind the desk or out in the field, that smile went with her.

Adeline, I could never thank you enough for all the work you did behind the scenes and for that time you showed me how to set up a hootch during Stalwart Guardian. And let's not forget that time a whole group of us took the karaoke mic to sing Backstreet Boys at the Christmas dinner. Even if it was just for a short time, the Service Battalion was happy to have you as one of our own. We miss you dearly, and I hope you rest peacefully and with the smile you're always known for

I was in disbelief and my mind failed to accept the fact that something so tragic could happen to that beautiful glowing smile. She had the ability to put a smile on your face just by being around you.
